General Community Questions

James Run Apartments is located at 2786 Megan Way, Bel Air, MD 21015 in Eastern Harford County, Maryland. We’re conveniently located off I-95 at Belcamp Exit 80. From I-95, head north on Route 543 and make a left onto Admiral Lane. If you see a Starbucks, you know you’re in the right place! 

James Run Apartments consists of 7 luxury apartment buildings with a total of 304 units. Each building is four stories and has its own elevator. Check out our community sight map which also includes up to date availability on our Floor Plans page.

Construction was completed in early 2025.

We have spacious one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes. Current availability can be found on our Floor Plans page or by calling the leasing office. You can also view Virtual Tours of our floor plans to visualize yourself in your future home!

Yes! Select units on the first floor do have patios. Floor plans with balconies on the second through fourth floor include: B1, B1.1, B2, B2.1, B4, B5, B6 and C1.

Application & Screening Process

Tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please use the Book a Tour form to get to the top of our inbox. Our leasing team will call you to schedule your tour. We can also accommodate walk-ins during normal business hours. Please check the Contact page for our most up to date hours.

Visit our Floor Plans page and select an available apartment on the interactive map, or click the Floor Plans tab and select a floor plan for its availability. Once you click on a unit, click the, "Lease Now" button to open the online application with Loft Living. Each applicant must pay a non-refundable $25 application fee. If you have any questions during the application process, our leasing team is ready to help you during our normal business hours.

Applicants must have a combined household income of 2.8x the base rent. All applicants (over the age of 18) are subject to a credit and background screening, so please be sure your credit is unfrozen.

We are Pet Friendly! ALL Dogs MUST register with PooPrints at the Rental Office. Proof of the pet’s vaccinations must be provided.

1st Floor: Only 1 large dog up to 60lbs in weight at full growth, OR up to 2 small dogs (<35lbs), OR 2 cats permitted per apartment.

2nd – 4th Floor: Up to 2 small dogs up to 35 pounds in weight at full growth, or 2 cats permitted per apartment.

NO PIT BULLS, PIT BULL MIX, ROTTWEILERS, GERMAN SHEPHERDS, OR DOBERMANS ARE PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY.

No. Residents must maintain electric in their name during the lease term and are responsible for all charges to BGE. Residents must maintain water/sewer in their name during the lease term and are responsible for all charges that are billed to their account on a monthly basis. High speed internet and cable are the responsibility of the resident as well.

Yes, James Run Apartments offers the following discounts off base rent charges, credited on a monthly basis: 3% for active Military & Law Enforcement, 2% for Verterans, First Responders including EMTs Firefighters, Paramedics, Nurses (RN), and Educators. Seniors (Over 65 Years Old) receive a $25 per month base rent discount.

Residents & Amenities

Residents can easily pay their monthly rent online through their LOFT portal or with the LOFT app. Rent can also be paid via check at the leasing office.

Residents can submit online service requests through their LOFT portal or with the LOFT app. Service requests can also be called in or emailed.  If you have a maintenance emergency after business hours, please call the office (443) 643-9200 to automatically reach our emergency line.

If you purchased your renter's insurance through LOFT with eRenterPlan, the leasing office is automatically notified of your policy renewal. If you purchased your renter's insurance through another company, please forward your policy declarations page to the leasing office. As part of your lease agreement, residents are required to hold a minimum $100,000 of personal liability coverage, naming James Run Apartments. Failure to provide proof of renter's insurance will result in a monthly fee of $25 for noncompliance as per your lease agreement.

Residents may contact the leasing office directly to check availability or join a waitlist. Garden Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

To reserve the Clubhouse, residents must complete an inquiry form. A Property Manager will review the request, confirm details, and assist with scheduling the reservation. Email us to get the inquiry form!

Storage Units are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents may contact the leasing office directly to check availability or join a waitlist. Once on a waitlist, residents will be assigned the next available space. Storage fees will be added to the resident's monthly billing account. Storage fees for small units are $30 per month, and large units are $60 per month.

Yes! James Run Apartments currently has 4x Level 2 EV Charging stations.

Residents put their garbage bag out next to their door in an approved bin each weeknight, and our Valet Trash service picks it up!

Yes and no. Smoking is prohibited inside our buildings. There are restrictions on smoking outside, please contact our leasing team with any questions.
